Rest Day in Boise

No riding today.  Harv's bike is in the bike shop for repairs and two bike shops have been hit to replenish the supply of tubes.  Today is a day to reorganize:  our duffel bags, bike gear, food.  We'll also check over the courses for week 3 before we book the rest of our Week-3 bnbs.

PEOPLE WELL MET ALONG THE WAY THIS WEEK
Mossie, the cat in Baker City.
Vernon

The guys had a flat and stopped outside this guy's farm in Prairie City.
They were Mennonites and had a home bakery.  The guys bought: cherry pie, cinnamon raisin bread and banana bread.

Mary gave us a wine tasting in Baker City
Migrant worker from whom the guys sought advice about lunch spots on the way to Boise.

OLD CARS FOUND IN OREGON

Finally, we might get some more sight seeing done in Boise.  Personally, I'm feeling rather lazy today; going to cozy up with the lap top and catch up on this blog.
