Day 30 on to Mankato, MN

We rode 30 extra miles yesterday, turning a 69 mile ride into a 99 mile ride.

Today it was originally a 105 mile ride (but became a 75 mile ride due to 30 extra miles yesterday).  As it turned out, it didn’t rain at all today, just very foggy in the morning.  So we lucked out.

Hoping for similar luck tomorrow, but doesn’t look promising based on all the forecasts we’re checking.

A friendly /playful dog chased/followed us on one of the farm roads, for about 3/4 mile.  Even across a busy street.  We tried to shoo him away, but he wouldn’t listen.  Finally, when he ran into some bushes, we took off, thinking if he doesn’t see us, he’ll return home.  We worried about him crossing the busy road when going home.
