Rest Day in Milwaukee

We had an extraordinary visit in Milwaukee with Linda's friends, Tully and Jack.  I hope we can return the hospitality.

They took us all over Milwaukee and fed us like royalty.

The Domes.  Conical domes that house the botanical gardens in Milwaukee.

Our treasure hunt of Frank Lloyd Wright buildings ended in Milwaukee today.  We saw "the Burnam Block", six FLW buildings constructed on the same block.  It was FLW's attempt to design low-cost housing.

We also visited the Milwaukee Museum of Art (MAM).  The “wings” actually open in the morning, and fold in the evening.  In one pic you can see them open, and in one of the later pics (with the yellow house in the right) you see it folded closed
