Anniversary (#34) on the Road

Extremely windy on the route to Idaho Falls.  Fortunately, most of it was a tail wind for the guys; they zoomed.

We had a long walk around the Idaho Falls Greenway and dinner at
Jakers to celebrate our anniversary.  In the park they have "Seats as Art".

Day 11 to Burley, ID

Whoo Hoo! We all did some sightseeing together this morning.  It’s a short ride to Burley.  So, the guys decided to do some touring with us.  We visited:  Shoshone Falls and

the Minidoka National Historic Site (Japanese interment during WWII).

Our BNB is like an oasis in the middle of the desert.  It's drop dead gorgeous.  We'd love to have this apartment in the city!  AND, we saw both Jane and Lizzie on the kitty cam today.

Day 10 to Twin Falls, ID

Once again, bikes and car traveled almost the same route.  The guys had fun today; they said it was the easiest century/100 miles that they ever rode.  Harv had one encounter with the dreaded goat weed but there were no tube casualties; maybe the sealant is working.
Rainbow greeted the riders this morning

Malad Gorge

Riders and drivers visited Hagerman Fossil Monument
                             Twin Falls was another surprise.

We entered by way of the commercial part of town and were relatively unimpressed.  However, the downtown was cute and the gorge with the twin falls was lovely.  They constructed a lengthy walkway along the gorge and across the Perrine Bridge.
Did not see the exact spot where Evel Knievel attempted to jump the Snake River in his supercharged motorcycle but, in this case close is good enough.

Last but not least, we scoped out the Cliff Bar factory in Twin Falls and waved "HI" for Tasha Capen
